Hello! I dance tango. I am interested in having a few professional fotos done in this style. Your work is fabulous. You did pictures for Frank and Karen Davis, they are my friends. I do not have a tango partner. Would it be possible to take “solo” pictures of me in tango style/setting?

Go digital, but be sure to get a DSLR will full manual controls. The need for black and white development is (although very close to my heart) not very useful and is becoming less and less relevant each day.

OK Photographer, answer me this: if I want to learn the art of photography, do you believe, in this day and age, that it’s necessary to learn black and white self-focused self-developed pictures first… or can I lunge in and go fully digital straight away?
I know a tiny bit about picturetaking and wouldn’t want to use full autofocus or auto exposure all the time. I would want some control over e.g. depth of field etc…
Any advice most welcome!
